That is a boatload of symbolism.
Bizzarre. I’m watching the “American Gods”pilot and the 8 pointed star just showed up. It was on a roadside sign. I’d never given it much thought until watching this video. As your video demonstrates, it certainly does seem to be in everything.
As I was looking at all of those 8 pointed ‘stars’ it reminded me of the asterisk type thing I’ve been using to highlight any point I want to draw attention to on paper–I realized that ‘asterisk’ shape I draw has 8 points on it–then, this occurred to me–draw the cross of Christ–then, draw an X through it–you come up with an 8 pointed design! I am now thinking that their ‘cross of Ishtar’ is nothing more than satan’s attempt at Xing out the Lord, by drawing an X through the shape of His cross–and, that’s why it’s showing up everywhere these days.
this always makes me think of the compass rose, it seems to appear in almost every ancient discipline. it always makes me think of the way I’ve seen masons or occultists give hints about direction, of finding a hidden destination.
